SYNOPSIS
The Congo River becomes the set for a film in which Marco Gualazzini – an award-winning photojournalist who has worked in Africa for a long time – becomes part of a documentary portrait. The real protagonist, however, is the object of his research: an invisible and elusive character called ‘spillover’.
